Soha Ali Khan Struggles to Achieve 10k Steps in Rainy Weather; Expert Solutions Provided!

According to Varun Rattan, co-founder of The Body Science Academy, investing in high-quality rain gear is essential to overcome the challenges of staying active during rainy weather.

Soha Ali Khan, a fitness enthusiast, faces challenges in completing her daily steps during the monsoon, just like many of us. The continuous rain and muddy roads make it difficult to stay active outdoors. The weather’s lethargic vibe can also tempt us to skip our fitness routine. Soha has been experiencing the monsoon struggles first-hand and is finding it challenging to maintain her fitness regime during this season.

Soha Ali Khan shared her frustration with the monsoon weather on her Instagram Stories. She revealed that her average steps for the week were lower than 3k steps each day, and questioned how it’s possible to walk 10k steps in such challenging weather conditions. The continuous rainfall and muddy roads seem to have hindered her usual fitness routine, leaving her with fewer steps than she would have liked to achieve.

Varun Rattan, co-founder of The Body Science Academy, suggests a few solutions to complete steps even on rainy days:

1. Invest in good rain gear:
A high-quality raincoat, waterproof shoes, and an umbrella protect you from the rain while you walk, ensuring you don’t skip your fitness routine.

2. Use indoor spaces:
Look for indoor spaces like shopping malls, community centres, or gyms that allow walking. Many places have indoor walking tracks, which can be a great alternative during rainy days.

3. Try home workouts:
If going out isn’t possible, consider doing home workouts that involve bodyweight exercises, yoga, or simple walking in place to keep your body moving.

4. Dance or aerobics:
Put on your favorite music and have a dance session or do aerobics at home. It’s a fun way to burn calories and complete your daily step goal.

5. Stairs climbing:
If you have stairs at home or in your building, take advantage of them. Climbing stairs is an excellent workout for your legs and helps you reach your step target quickly.

6. Walk indoors:
Walk around your home or office whenever you have some free time. While it may not be as extensive as walking outside, it still contributes to your step count.

7. Utilize breaks:
Whenever you take breaks at work or during your daily routine, consider going for a short walk to add more steps to your total count.

Consistency is key, and finding creative ways to keep moving, even on rainy days, can help you maintain your fitness goals.
