TV star Hina Khan, currently battling breast cancer, has been chronicling her health journey through poignant Instagram updates. On Saturday, she shared a photo displaying her scar, accompanied by a heartfelt caption: “What do you see in this picture? The scars on my body or the hope in my eyes? The scars are mine, embraced with love as they signify the progress I deserve. The hope in my eyes reflects my soul; I can glimpse the light at the tunnel’s end. I am manifesting my healing, praying for yours too.” Hina included hashtags #SacrredNotScared and #DaddysStrongGirl.
Responding to her post, designer Masaba Gupta urged, “Take care of yourself, Hina,” while actor Dalljiet Kaur offered comforting words: “You will heal, my love. We are all praying for you.” Actor Arjun Bijlani expressed his support with heart emojis.
Hina Khan, amidst her battle with breast cancer, has been openly sharing her journey on social media. Recently, she bravely posted a photo of her scars, describing them as “the first sign of the progress I deserve.” In another poignant update, she shared a video of herself cutting off her hair following her first chemotherapy session. In her heartfelt post, she expressed her decision to proactively embrace this phase, stating, “I choose to let go of my beautiful hair before it starts falling off.” Hina also revealed her plan to use her hair to create a wig, emphasizing the symbolic shift from external appearance to inner strength and self-love.
Last month, Hina Khan disclosed that she has been diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment for it.
Hina Khan gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Akshara in the popular TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which made her a household name. She further showcased her versatility by participating in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 8 and Bigg Boss 11. Hina also made notable appearances in TV dramas such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay and starred as the lead in Naagin 5, portraying the titular shape-shifting serpent.
