Achieve a Radiant Pre-Bridal Glow with These Dietary Adjustments!

Prepare for Your Winter Wedding Glow: Diet Adjustments Recommended by Nutritionist Kiran Kukreja

Getting ready for your winter wedding? With an estimated 35 lakh weddings between November 23 and December 15, 2023, according to The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), it’s time to enhance your natural radiance with a few dietary changes. While makeup has its role, nutritionist Kiran Kukreja suggests these five measures for that bridal glow:

  1. Detox Water: Flush out toxins, stay hydrated, and support overall well-being.
  2. Roasted Flax Seeds: Rich in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber, promoting healthy digestion and contributing to glowing skin.
  3. De-bloating Tea: Aids digestion, reduces bloating, and boosts comfort and confidence.
  4. Beetroot Juice: Packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants for radiant skin and overall health.
  5. Buttermilk: Low in fat, with probiotics for gut health, offering a refreshing, hydrating beverage.

Hydration is crucial for healthy skin, according to dermatologist Dr Vandana Punjabi. Beetroot juice and buttermilk, noted dietitian Dt. Vidhi Chawla, contributes to radiant skin and nurtures gut health. Dr Punjabi recommends chewing fruits and vegetables for their rich fiber content. She also highlights the benefits of iron-rich foods like beetroot, apples, and pomegranates for a rosy glow. Additionally, Dr Punjabi emphasizes the skin benefits of omega-3-rich flax seeds and the probiotics in yoghurt and buttermilk, which help maintain a healthy microbial balance and prevent skin issues like acne and eczema.
